Found Objects Collections
The jewelry included in this showcase is a new collection. Each of these modern strands sports an eclectic mix of found objects. Some elements are new and some are vintage pieces from old jewelry. I will continue to look for and experiment with different combinations.
Found Objects: Amethyst, Mother-of-pearl, Smoky Quartz and Interesting Old Bead.#204 These objects are suspended on black leather. Two rough pieces of amethyst are the focal points, but the unusual pieces of mother-of-pearl and smoky quartz add texture and color. A tiny silver bead and a brown bead from an old necklace finish the look. Mixed metals and a heart-shaped clasp add to the modern eclectic look. $25.00- $

Found Objects: Red Jasper on a Silver and Copper Twist#208 Another found collection that has only one stone, a chunk of deep red jasper, almost a cube. The stone hangs from a hand crafted silver swirl which is connected to the black leather with a copper swan. Simple and elegant. $25.00- $

Purple and Black Silver Dream Necklace#299 Off-beat and sensual, this carved obsidian disk from a 1960’s earring is handsomely wrapped in silver wire with a tiny amethyst piece on its surface. Also suspended on a leather cord are a purple disk of shell and a silver-wrapped charm of deep purple and clear glass beads. Two large silver beads balance the look, knotted on the leather cord, finished by a silver lobster clasp and hand-crafted swan. $35

Found Objects: Amethyst, Flouite and Shell Disk on White Rope#206 A perfect collection of two deep purple amethyst pieces, one flourite bead with a silver flower topper, and a single disk of shell. All are strung on copper slides and suspended on a white cotton rope. The clasp is a silver-plated lobster clasp and a hand-crafted silver loop. The look is striking and unique. Price $25.00- $

Found Objects: Wooden Bead, Mother-of-Pearl Circle and Three Charms#221 This Found Object Collection is hard to describe. The center is a circle of mother-of-pearl and from it are hanging three quite different elements: one is an unknown bead from an old necklace, a large carnellian bead and a copper berry charm. The original shape is created by a long wooden bead through which the black leather straps are threaded. The look is modern and collectable. Wear it with anything. $25.00- $

Found Objects: Wooden Rings, Marble Bead, Unakite and Shells#207 Two wooden rings on a black leather-like strap are joined by a single bead of brown and white marble. Another bead of green and orange unakite join these shapes and finish off with three thin pieces of deep wine-colored shell. Odd, together, but not. Quirky and modern. Why not? $25.00 My favorite.- $
